FreeHead to Buchner Park on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 am to noon for the annual Children’s festival and kick-off to the summer reading program.
Join the Waukesha Public Library, Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, and the Waukesha County Dairy Promotions Committee for a fun-filled morning. This long-standing children’s festival is always held the second Saturday in June (June 8, 2024) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Buchner Park (231 Oakland Avenue).
Help the community celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Club theme. “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and the opening of Buchner Pool! Join the Waukesha Public Library, Waukesha Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department, Waukesha County Dairy Promotions, and community partners for a fun-filled morning. Enjoy storytimes, activity stations, the Fairy Godmother Sisters, and sign up for our Summer Library Programs.

- Pack a picnic lunch and stay for Buchner Pool’s opening at 12:30 p.m.
- FREE ice cream from the Waukesha County Dairy Promotion Committee
