Join the Hawks Inn in Delafield on Saturday, August 6th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. It’s their annual Ice Cream Social with free root beer floats served on the porch of the Delafield History Center, right next door to historic Hawks Inn. What is better than a root beer float on a hot summer day? Maybe a little pie, or a self-guided tour of our historic stage-coach Inn as it would have been during the American Civil War era. See the wonderful painting of Wisconsin artist Emily Groom at the Delafield History Center, next door to Hawks Inn.

This year they will also have Open Community Bluegrass Jam. Come learn the basics from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. There will be open jamming from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. To participate, bring your mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass, fiddle “violin”, Dobro or other stringed instrument. All levels are welcome!
