Holiday Shop With Cops

This Christmas season, local law enforcement agencies and area businesses have teamed up to offer a special “Shop with Cops” event. This special event will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Oconomowoc Community Center.
“Shop with Cops” offers children ages 5 to 10 years old the opportunity to shop with officers for Christmas gifts for their family members. Children will be transported by bus to K-Mart to purchase gifts for their families and themselves. They will then return to the Oconomowoc Community Center for breakfast with the officers and Santa. This is a unique opportunity for children to develop a relationship with law enforcement personnel that will hopefully serve to make a lasting impression in their lives.
“Shop with Cops” was developed with the idea of helping children from our community whose families may be facing financial challenges during the holiday season.
Lake Country “Shop with Cops” has expended considerable effort in soliciting donations from local businesses and citizens. Because of their generosity, we are able to offer this program to families at no cost. The only requirement is to complete the registration form and return prior to December 1, 2017.
